Visiting Friends in the Indy Area

(Cicero, IN) Hi 77 Lo 45 -- Today we went to see our good friends Bob and Marian. We met them about 10 years ago through the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society. Seven years ago they moved to Noblesville, about 10 miles northeast of Indianapolis, and we try to visit them whenever we're in the area.

We got to their place early in the afternoon. Bob took Jim to run some errands with him while Marian and I stayed behind and gabbed all afternoon. Marian made us a wonderful roast beef dinner, and then we all watched the NASCAR Nationwide race. Bob isn't much of a race fan, but he was ok with the other three of us watching the race. We then said goodbye for the evening, but we'll see them again before we leave the area. Tomorrow will be a fun day for us. I don't want to give away our plans, but they include very fast cars on a very large (and famous) race track. Zoom zoom!
