(Avon Park, FL) Hi 73 Lo 56 -- Nice cool, sunny day. We had the A/C off and the windows open today. The rains yesterday brought in some cooler and dryer air.
This was another day of not doing much. Jim did the laundry while I mopped the kitchen floor and wiped down all the cupboards. We're expecting company tomorrow so I wanted to have things spiffy. It's not like it's a mess, just a quick tidy up is usually all that's needed.
I didn't have anyone to play Words with Friends with. :( I think all of my opponents were busy today, which was unusual. I felt lost. I did play some other computer games just to pass the time. We both did our walk around the park. The improvement in the weather brought lots of people out.
We sat outside and read for a couple of hours, Jim on his Kindle and me on the Kindle app on my Droid. The highlight of our day was playing cards at the clubhouse after dinner. These days are just fun. Passing the time doing absolutely nothing.

Don't play words with friends. Went up to play cribbage tonight and we didn't have hardly anybody show up. Must be because it's a holiday? Strange since every day is a holiday now.

I really love words, my parents used to play scrabble every morning. would get up early just to get a game in before work.
Maybe when I retire I will have time for words w/ friends or whatever is current then.
I like lazy days! Hanging with Friends is also fun. Like hangman, but adult size.
I love the "lazy" days when you can read, relax and/or listen to music and really do nothing!
