Going Through More Boxes

(NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, NC)  Hi 69 Lo 61 -- Rain on the roof is so soothing, and we both slept well for most of the night. The rain stopped and I woke up like any other night.

I had a medical checkup today then went straight to mom's old apartment to pick up a few boxes for her to go through. The reason I take boxes to her is because she can be in her room and see that she doesn't have room for as much stuff as she wants to keep. All the things she decided not to keep I brought back to put in the "room" sale tomorrow. (Not a garage sale, not a yard sale, but a "room" sale.)

Mom had visitors in and out today. The lady that was her roommate in Rex Rehab lives nearby and came by to see her. They had a great visit for about an hour. Then Jim brought his mom, his sister and her boyfriend Jim came by. They had business this morning in Durham and they stopped by our campground on the way home to Morehead City. They hoped to go to the fair but it was a very rainy day, so they decided to come see mom. I could tell mom was getting tired, so when they left we did too. I left a box with mom to go through, it will give her something to do.

We stopped for dinner at a great local seafood place then came home to watch TV. We have a tornado warning about 75 miles south of us where a funnel cloud was sighted. We're hoping that stays away from us! Tomorrow is the room sale. We hope there's nothing left by the afternoon.
