When we got up this morning we found a puddle of water on the floor in front of the refrigerator. Jim did a quick post on Facebook about it and got a couple of suggestions to check the drain tube. He found the tube in the rear compartment of the fridge. It has a little plastic insert in the end that has a pin hole in it to drain the water. When he pulled out the insert about a half cup of water poured out of the tube. He cleaned out the insert with a paperclip and put it back into the tube. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. Another thing to check as part of our periodic maintenance!
We left for Rick's house around mid-afternoon. We had fun playing with grandson Jack, and I helped Laura prepare for a cookout she had planned for that evening. A few of their friends came over and we had a grand time meeting new friends, eating good food, and enjoying some laughs. They called us "Mr. and Mrs. Walter," which made us feel really old. :)
Four guys, one grill... trying to figure out what to cook first.
Rick and Jack.
Step-grandson Joey.
It was our last day with Rick and Laura and the kids until we see them again in October at a wedding we're going to. It's been a great two weeks. Thank you Rick and Laura for spending time with us.
Tomorrow is a pre-travel day, so we won't do much. Then Tuesday we're off to the St. Louis area to spend some time with our older son Frank, his wife Angie and grandsons Kyle and Kendall. Can't wait!

Its hard to say goodbye to our kids even if its just for a month...glad your going to see your other son and his family...enjoy!!!
Thanks for the tip about the drain in the fridge. We are preping our RV for our trip now. Will have to check the fridge drain.
I remember as a child/young adult, all my elders were referred to as Mr and Mrs so and so. At the time, I thought they were so old! LOL
From one old Mr and Mrs to another, have a safe travel day tomorrow :)
I'm rather impressed with the courtesy shown by addressing you as Mr. and Mrs. I know it makes us feel old but I remember it as a token of respect and it sure doesn't show up all that often any more. BUT I do prefer the more casual use of our names by young people. Have fun with your next visit.
We've had that drain clog up too... also the drain hose outside. Is a little scary when you don't know what it is. Glad you're getting quality time with your family...
Have fun & Travel safe
Donna
FOur guys around one grill? No good can come from that! ;c)
How many beers did it take before they figured out how to light it?
