I keep forgetting to put Sandra's blog name. This is Gordon's photos.
We started the day by watching some of the boats go by on the canal.
The only thing planned today was time with Sandra to go to the Farmer's Market. She picked me up about 1:00 and we went over, but it was closed. She then gave me a tour around town, and we did some t-shirt shopping (I had to have a Canada t-shirt), then she took me back to the RV. The town butcher just put up a pig in front his business. I guess it's the talk of the town.
It was absolutely gorgeous out. The breeze was chilly in the shade, but there was no humidity so we sat outside watching more of the canoes going by. It looked like they were teaching a group how to row.
I took a walk around the park. It's really pretty here in the RV park. It's getting full for the weekend. We now have a Motorhome beside us with a family from Montreal.

There were a lot of people around grilling, swimming, walking dogs, bicycling and having a good time.
Our initial thoughts about Canada, based on our first few days: It's very much like being in the U.S. If it weren't for the different look of the street and road signs you wouldn't realize you're in another country. People here are extremely polite and friendly. The pace is laid back. Everyone seems to be happy and smile at you as you pass them. It's very pretty and clean, and the roads (the ones we've been on anyway) are excellent. Overall, we love it here... but we might have a different opinion if we were here in January. :)
We have a full day prepared tomorrow... see you then.

It looks like you are really enjoying your time in Canada.
Did you know that Ottawa is about the same distance North as the city of Minneapolis. And that all of North Dakota is farther North? Of course all of those places seem cold, in the winter to us snow birds........
Awesome guys...just awesome! Really enjoy reading all about it!
