There was no breeze at all first thing this morning so the bugs were bad. We both stayed in until the wind picked up. I took my last walk to the beach at midday.
The board walk to the beach.

The tide was starting to go out, which leaves water around the rocks making sucking sounds.

There was someone fishing and he had a pelican friend sitting nearby. It was fun watching the two of them. You’re not supposed to feed the animals or birds, but this guy was throwing fish to the pelican to the point it was taking it out of his hand.

A crane was also waiting for a handout.

We sat outside for quite awhile and talked to our neighbors. They’re from New Hampshire and slowly making their way back home. They spend every winter in Florida and have been "snowbirding" back and forth since 1987.
I took this picture just as the sun was going down and reflecting off a window of our RV.

Sunset over the ships.

It’s been a great stay here in Mayport, we’ll be back in the fall. We’re hoping to miss the storms tomorrow morning as we head to Charleston, South Carolina. It’s our last day in paradise, but there's more adventures to come.
