Breakfast - Propane - What Do You Think

(Wauchula, FL) - Jim went to breakfast at the recreation center, which they have every other Saturday.  It's at 8am so I didn't go.  I'd rather sleep in than get up at that time of the morning just for breakfast.  Hey, I'm retired so I don't HAVE to do it.  :)  Jim says the sausage and pancake breakfast was yummy.  About 20 people were there.

One of our propane tanks ran out so we went to have it re-filled.  It was back in August when we last had to have a tank filled..  There's an ACE Hardware close by so it's very convenient.  I also looked at Christmas lights, but I'm not sure what I want to do yet as far as decorating.  I'm going to wait and see what others do here in the park, and how they hang lights on their rigs before I try it.

For a new project I'm thinking of crocheting clothes hanger covers. There's a couple ways of doing them, either crochet or braid them.  I find they work great in the RV because clothes, especially shirts, don't fall off of them like regular hangers.  Before I buy the yarn and take the time to make them, I'd like to find out if there would be any demand for them.  Would you buy one (or more)?  To cover the costs of the yarn and my time I'm thinking of charging $2.00 if you provide the hanger, or $3.00 if you don't.  You can leave a comment about it, or if you prefer you can email me at deewalter09@yahoo.com.

We had our normal afternoon of fun.  We've been keeping an eye on the snowy weather up north. My mom even called me to say it's snowing where she is in NC.  I'm so glad we're not there this year. It was rough enough last winter. It's really early for snow in that part of the country.  Here it's 74 degrees, the windows are all open and we're in shorts and t-shirt.  At least until the sun goes down, then it's back to high 40's.  Our little warm spot in paradise.

Sorry, not much need for covered hangers as we have had nothing fall off of the plastic hangers we use. On the other hand, we used 6 propane tanks and $145. of electric in Colorado trying to keep warm for 37 days.

Sorry Dee, we don't need covered hangers either.
We got just enough snow here in NC to cover the ground and make it look pretty :) This is our first couple days of using any propane but not much. The heat pump keeps up really good.

The hangers sounds handy. We bought some felt covered (or something) ones from WalMart, but don't remember the cost. They do help keep clothes on the hangers during transit.

Let us know about the Christmas decorating thing.. I am tyring to decide what I want to to take on the road for decorating. I want SOMETHING to make it festive... we will bring our table top tree.. not sure what else... we will be watching to see what you FT-ers do! :-)

Enjoy that 70 degree weather - it has gotten pretty cold here in VA - we have even had some snow flurries. ugh. ~Marti for both

I actually have some covered hangers that a girlfriend made for me over 30 years ago. Would I buy them? No, I like the plastic ones and I either button the shirts or use a clothes pin to keep them on, I use a clothes pin for pants too. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that would though.

Would love a little of your heat for us poor people who have to stay at home. Enjoy it!! You earned it.

If you hang your hangers in the RV closet "backwards", the clothes shouldn't fall off.

I know that works in a MH, don't know about a 5er, though.
