(Wauchula, FL) – Partly cloudy, partly sunny, and a few sprinkles today, but nothing serious. It looked like people were restless today, there were a lot more walkers around the park than usual. It seems like everything in the park was kind of on hold until the wedding was over. We found out we’re the youngest couple in the park. Gives you an idea of the demographics we're living in. Two more RV’s came in today. The activities in the park should really pick up as more snowbirds arrive.
A few weeks ago I did an interview with a reporter from the Garner (NC) newspaper. I got an email from Rachel, the reporter, letting us know that it was published this morning in their online blog. You can check it out here: http://www.garnercitizen.com/citizen-blog/2010/11/20/traveling-couple-makes-stop-in-garner/
We kept busy today with computer reading, getting ready for tomorrow's trip, and visiting with neighbors. We played shuffleboard, and learned that when it rains it slows down the pucks to crawling speed which makes it harder to push them. We both really like that game.
I got things packed and stored, watched TV, and did some chatting. We’ll head out later in the morning.
It’s warm in paradise.

Cool that you and Jim are the youngest of the bunch there! We expect you to "whoop up" on them on the shuffleboard court!
Cool article too!

Well "THAT IS COOL".... Congrats and it is a nice story.
A very nice article on you two youngsters.
So you must have been the "ringers" that came in to win all the shuffleboard games! ;c)

We're heading to Florida..maybe we should stay there. It would be nice to be considered "young" again!
Interesting article on you two.
The little church here in my community has a "Youth Group," and I'm one of only a few that belonged. You had to be under 70 to be in the Youth Group. We had a bible study class that was only for the Youth Group, and they finally had to open it up to older people or we wouldn't have enough people for the group to continue. So funny. So, I know how you feel, but it's all relative.
