Grandson's Band Concert - O'Fallon, IL

It rained during the night and early morning.  It finally got sunny by afternoon and up to 60 degrees.  NICE!

We didn't do much all morning, just stayed around the home till we got notice from our son to come to their new house.  Their inspection was today and it went really well.  This is the outside:

We had a pizza for dinner, then over to the kids' to meet everyone for Kyle's band concert.  The concert was made up of fifth and sixth grade bands from two different schools.  They did a wonderful job.

This is Jim, Kendall and Dee playing around before the concert started.

Kyle after the concert.  He's in the fifth grade and plays alto sax.  Jim, Dee and both sons were in school band. We're glad our grandson is too.
On the way back home, we noticed the full moon. This is one of the buildings on base with the moon coming up behind it.
It was a perfect day with many more to come.

Oh how nice you got there in time for his concert! Learning a muscial instrument is so good for kids.. .besides the music itself, good for mathematics and learning to be part of a *team* where each part has an important place to be in the music as it unfolds.....
