Word from the Dealer!

It's still windy and COLD, even if the temperature got to 54 today, it didn't feel like it.

Jim called the dealer first thing this morning and our parts are in transit. We're going to wait for the arrival day to the dealer before deciding what day to take off for the dealer. Right now, it may be Tuesday when we pull out. The dealer is saying it will be two days to do the repairs, but we're preparing for four days. We'll come back through here on our way to Jim's family in Morehead City, NC. It's getting close, so I had a boost in energy and reorganized the closets.

I love tubs. They close and lock so less of a chance of things flying everywhere. Even in our mishap all but one held tight. The one that didn't was full of tupperware so all was good. When it warms up, hopefully on Saturday, I'll work on the car.

Jim went back to Cary to do laundry and went to the doctor for a bum knee. He has a knee that has hurt for quite some time but after a shot it got better. We went on a mile walk on Monday and he was back in pain. Doctor told him he overdid it and not to walk any long distance at all for at least two months.

Plans are in jello, but hopefully by the second week of March we'll be in Ocala, FLA taking the RV class for a couple days. We're stopping to see RV-Dreams website owner Howard & Linda for a couple of days and another RV-Dreamer in Jacksonville, Fla. I hear it's cold in Florida too, so we won't get much warmth, but hopefully it will be above 32 degrees so we can at least be hooked up to city water.

We'll be on the move before long.

Oh. very smart to wait till the parts are in FOR SURE and the right ones... and then allowing double the time to get it done. Very smart! Better than cutting it too close. You guys sure are getting good at this stuff!

Great news Dee!!!

You are really getting close now and will be in warmer weather in no time at all!

It sure had been a long wait but the end is in sight!

I love reading about your adventure to get on the road. I read yours and many more blogs. I just never comment on them. It won't be long for you now.

Where are you staying in Jacksonville?
