Olympics - ISS and Preparing for the MOVE

The Olympics has captured our attention during the day and night, so we're both going to bed later then normal. We're also watching the space shuttle and ISS on dish network, which is very informative. They put in a module on the ISS that is all glass openings to the outside watching the world below them. We've been captivated for the past nine days with their space walks. The space shuttle is leaving the ISS tonight, so all the goodbye's were done yesterday.

It was finally warm enough today to do some stuff outside. The temperature was 38 when we got up but raised to 57, sunny not a cloud in the sky. FINALLY. I cleaned out the car, Jim played with the air compressor and worked on getting the truck tires aired up. We are now on city water for the first time this month, and hopefully we can stay on it till we leave.

I worked on the GPS that hasn't been working right. I wanted to do a reset and with the help of another chatter I got it reset now we'll see if it works. I loaded the 2009 maps and it quit finding satellites after a few minutes, that's not good when you need it the worst. I think we'll have both the GPS (Jim's truck) and I'll have the computer with the converter for Street Atlas, that way we're both covered.

We heard from the dealer and part of our parts are in. The rest should be here Monday. We're hoping to pull out on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. We still have some last minute things to do here before we leave for good but as usual it's the last minute stuff. I forgot about an oil change so that's getting done Monday.

We're getting really excited about getting on the move.
