Waiting: A Lot of Waiting the Last Few Months

I finally slept most of the night, just from pure exhaustion. I got up a little earlier so I could get the place looking spiffy for the 9:00 inspection. It looked great when I left for work. I know the inspector came, there was water in the shower, tub, sinks, and the dishes in the dishwasher were done. Now we wait for the response. I'm doing a lot of waiting since April. I should be good at it by now.

Work was hectic. I had a lot to do and there was a class for the other three employees so we had a lunch brought in which was super. The last two days have gone fast with work to do.

I picked up mom after work and took a car load of stuff to Goodwill then went on over to the apartment to sign some papers. I work till 5:00 tomorrow and cant get there before they close. Jim is going early so he can sign the papers and get the keys. I couldn't believe all the extras they charge once you sign papers, they didn't mention a lot of it while we were discussing prices, but at least they didn't give us the price that went up the next day after I called them. We won't move in much till September 12, but I can move in little boxes to get them out of condo starting Thursday night. I'll also go to their gym to get started in working out. The pool stays open till end of October. I could use our own pool till end of September but never get around to it.

I took mom back home then waited for the guy that wanted our hammock. He came right on time. Another item gone. I don't think we'll sell anything else now till we're ready to move into the RV when we get it.

The garbage people picked up the dumpster, but didn't pick up all the trash around it, so it's still sitting and smelling bad all around the dumpster. I called the HOA this morning and they called the garbage company, they forgot us yesterday. Now it's a total mess out there. They didn't arrive till 3:00 so it was still a mess this morning when the inspection was happening.
