Vegas Day 4 - The Strip

We got a later start then we intended, but the maid service woke us up or we probably would have stayed a lot longer in bed. It's a lot cooler and breezy today. The sun was out so we decided to head to the strip. There's a big difference from the "old town" and the strip. We like it a lot better in the old town. I love Vegas, not to live but to be here for a week or more is great! There's a lot to see, a lot to do and it's not all about gambling with us. Our son sent a text message wondering if we had gambled away the condo, not a bad idea, but no, we haven't.

We didn't think we'd walk much this time out here, last time we were here we tried walking the entire strip, but we didn't even try to go far this time. We did start out by taking the tram but ended up seeing something just down the street and walked. For those that have never been to Vegas, you have to understand that a block feels like a two mile walk and you still aren't at the destination. It's so much fun stopping and seeing the activity on the streets. We did go to the Forum to see the moving statues.

I took more pictures of the strip hotels

This view is inside the new Wynn hotel.
Jim and George taking a rest after we went through a mall. No casinos in the malls.
This is all four of us taking a rest.
We came back to the Motor Home and just sat to rest up then went to dinner. We played a couple games of poker and headed to bed. It's suppose to be rainy and snowy with thunderstorms tomorrow. I hope we don't get any of it, but just the temperatures are to be in the 30s. I'm glad I brought my long johns. I took several pictures today, but will post all of them when I get home.

Sherri and I love it out there and will probably go back someday. We walked everywhere and went in every place we could. I could not believe how many places we saw while we were there. I think that we gambled in over 20 casinos and went to three different shows...Yes we will go back
