First Work Day after Las Vegas

It's been a lot warmer here then in Vegas which is really nice. The ALARM woke me up this morning and I was baffled for a bit wondering why. My boss had called Wednesday night saying she wanted me from 10-5 instead of 9-1. She really missed me and there was a lot to get done. I went out to the car at the usual time, one half hour before reporting to work. The door was ajar. I got in already knowing it wasn't going to start. Jim had left the door open just a bit before we left for our trip and it was enough to kill the battery. I called mom to ask if I could grab her car. She's a mile down the road and I knew I could walk it in twelve minutes. She was home and said that wouldn't be a problem. I made it to work 10:15 but had to get the mail before I got there so that wasn't a problem being late. Mrs Boss did a really good job for the weeklies and nothing had to be changed. The filing was piled up in a couple places. She also wanted me to sit down and see if the arrangement at the new place would work. We need to know by Tuesday if there's any major changes to do when the movers get there for a meeting with us.

The day went fairly fast, but I'm sure tired. I'm ready to quit work that's for sure. I'm glad tomorrow is Friday. I have a ton of work to get done at the condo and would like to get started. Linda told me to make lists so my mind isn't always going in circles. It works, when I get stressed about getting something done, I write it down and feel so much better.

I wish I had pictures, I miss putting them on from our trip. I'm home the rest of the evening watching the qualifying races for Daytona. I'll be on chat and read some blogs tonight.
