New Computer - New Frustrations

Rain when I first got up, but by later afternoon there was sun and rain and rainbows. The temp raised to 52 degrees which isn't too bad.

I got to work at 9:00 and Mrs Boss was waiting with a couple huge projects. I'm sure not bored anymore. To top it off, we have a couple new PC's and one was for me to use but it has Vista. It also has Office 2007 which I'm not use to. Another employee gave me some instructions and I maneuvered my way around and wasn't doing too bad, then I tried to print. That didn't happen, and the printing software doesn't we tried to load won't go with Vista. I have some proposals to do which are very involved. I tried to open WORD, it didn't happen. It's also not compatible with Vista. I had trouble with Vista on the home computer, double that with an office application. I finally had them change back to the older computer with XP and got a little of my work done before leaving at 1:00. They're also have two other computers not working with printers or our software. What a problem!! I think they're taking them in to load XP back on them, it's our only hope at the moment.

I picked mom up for her grocery shopping since I couldn't do it on Monday. I also went across town for the turbo tax, which is getting very expensive. I can't wait to get on the road and just have the short form to worry about. I got back home a little after 4:00.

We thought we'd go to Greensboro this weekend to the RV show, but we've backed out. The weather is suppose to be nasty, it's over an hour away and the same show will be here in Raleigh, next month. We want to talk to vendors and spend more time with insurance companies. We are getting so close! The shows have very few RV's except Travel Trailers and smaller units. There's more Class A's, but we're still wanting the Heartland fifth wheel.

Days left to sell the condo and order the RV 4 mths 23 days

I agree with your comment about being on the road and using the short tax form. Last year I filed a 1040EZ, but with the sale of my house this year I know it will require a 1040. My daughter has offered to do it for me. Good luck.
