It's Christmas Eve. I got a Christmas present today, my boss called and said not to come to work. I did such a great job closing out the year and getting all the reports out yesterday that I didn't need to come in. What a great day!!Jim & I went to our favorite restaurant across the street for breakfast. I love that place, but we don't go very often, it's on the pricey side. The weather is cloudy but 60 degrees, so we had the windows and doors back open. I took advantage of the day and made two pies, one chocolate and a pumpkin. I read blogs, emails and did a few puzzles.
I got mom at 3:30. We worked on some card making and looked stuff up on the Internet for cards. That's her craft and she does it well. I talked to our neighbor about needing someone to look after mom when we're gone. She's a hairdresser and sees a lot of people. She lost her mom this year and would be glad to check in on mom and take her to the appointments. I'll pursue that idea after the holidays and things settle down. She would be perfect.
We're suppose to have rain tomorrow, but looks like it's coming in now, it's getting dark. I'll be on chat tonight. I have five days off and have every minute accounted for, what a great day.
We were checking on forums today and ran across a great idea. It might not be able to work in all the 5th wheels, but move the table and chairs to the back, the recliners to the left (in front of the TV) and put the couch where the dining room table was. I love that idea. The couch is still able to come out when needed. Time is still moving along toward full time.
