I woke up just before the alarm! It's still dark and it was 17 degrees but I knew it was going to be a busy day finishing up and closing out 2008 at work. I was the first one there and by 7:40. There was no traffic and I hit the lights all green so only took 8 minutes instead of 15 to get to work. The bosses both strolled in about 10:00. They've got their hands full with relatives and Mr. Bosses mom. She fell yesterday and has a nasty huge bump on her head. Mr Boss was throwing a tantrum today, but we just shrugged it off knowing there's a lot going on with him right now.Later in the morning when all of us could get together I presented our Christmas gift to the bosses. It's tickets to see Dancing with the Stars late January. They both loved it, something different and they've heard so much about the show. That will give them something to do together. The rest of the day Mr. Boss was in a better mood and kidded around more.
I did some more on the 2009 project lists and came home at 5:00. Tomorrow I go in on my regular schedule of noon. Jim is off work tomorrow, so I'm taking him to our favorite breakfast place in the morning to celebrate my normal hours.
