THANK YOU to all the READERS

I was watching the blog reader count and yesterday it was past 5,000 hits. That's great for someone that's not on the road yet and just babbling most of the time. I started this blog on January 12, 2008, so I want to give a special thank you to all of you. Next week the blog should be quite interesting with family reunions and RV-Dreams rally.

I couldn't sleep last night, just one of those nights. I did get up fairly early about 9. After breakfast I hit the budget for the month of May. The biggest difference was gas and second was food. It was quite higher than last month. I did a total comparing those on the road and ours, yep, cheaper to get on the road. We've discussed getting the RV and moving it to the campground, but decided to stay on schedule for two main reasons, the location we are to work (using more gas to move) and mom, who lives in a walkable distance. I'll hold tight. I'm learning patience.

It's beginning another month today. June has always been my favorite. It has the longest days, it's my birthday month and it's usually the traveling month. This year is no different. The calendar is packed for stuff to do and places to go. Lots of birthdays for friends and relatives this month and even a graduation.

This view seemed really pretty tonight. The sun is bright, the temp is 87 and of course the humidity is high. The reflection from the house across the lake shines in my eyes in the evening, but only lasts a couple minutes. Just really pretty.

The NASAR race is in Dover today, so we spent the rest of the afternoon watching that. What a relaxing lazy day. Just like the RV'ers have. The exception, we work tomorrow and they don't.

Days left to buy the RV/Truck 2 yrs 11 mths 13 days

Great Blog...there is a reason for staying on track. However, sometimes it hard to do. I know you are looking forward to that time and we are counting the days with you. We are looking forward to spending time with you guys at the rally and will take what time we get for now. See you there.

Dee & Jim,
Can't wait to meet you guys! I hope when we get to the rally you will show me how to put all the neat stuff you have on your blog, on mine too! Like the counter, pictures and favorite blogs!

Congratulations on your count, Dee. Pretty photo too!

Even with fuel going up we can probably live cheaper on the road due to property tax. In a sticks and bricks you still have to pay fuel or electric for heat so all in all I think it's still cheaper!
