Ready to Roll

I could not sleep so got up at 5:45 when Jim did. I did some blogs, worked on photobucket and read a bunch of emails. If you look to the right, there's a link to photobucket, just click. When we start loading pictures you'll see them. Those that are family and friends you'll see the album saying friends. Those with the RV-Dreams, it will have an album with rally08. I HOPE that works. It can take tons of pictures, I just have to figure how to separate the two and get it going.

Work was quick, the boss knew I didn't want to start a new project and too excited to do anything important. The project for 4 hours was to put the bosses business cards in alpha order and insert into a file that I setup last year. I got it done right at 1:00.

I spent all afternoon loading and reloading the truck. I thought I could get a lot of stuff in it for my sister and son, but it didn't all fit. I'll have to take my sisters stuff another time. I'm not as young as I once was and today was proof. I had a terrible time getting in and out of the back of the truck. I also drove the truck to work today. It's so different than my little car that I had to get use to it all over again. The last time I drove it was April to the GA Rally. When packing the suitcase, we did it for 5 days and not 11 because we'll do laundry at my sisters. Jim reminded me we're going to church with the kids on Sunday morning, so I had to take out something to put in something. I left behind my tye dye shirt, bummer.

One other thing that happened. Jim has shingles. He got into the skin Dr today and got some pills and hopes he doesn't get worse on this trip. We're just thankful it's not skin cancer.

I'll post every day, but I won't have a set time. Please check often to keep up with our trip. Lots to do, people so see and a wonderful time is planned. Safe journey to all that's going to Branson. Stay tuned.

Days left to buy the RV/Truck 2 yrs 11 mths 9 days

Oooh, shingles aren't good! When Gordon got them 2 yrs ago they gave him some kind of cream as well as antibiotics. His were on his neck. Watch them closely to be sure they don't spread. They can be painful!

Oh, No! No tie-dyed shirt ! That seems like it would be you. I bet you will miss it.
I am so sorry about the shingles, that is horrible. I pray that it doesn't spead. It would have to happen right now.
You two have a safe trip, and don't forget to write.
