Class in Ukulele - Thanksgiving Lunch - Christmas Party - Cemetery

Shalimar, FL  (Hi 71  Lo 58)

This week started with another class with the ukulele on Saturday. The class is getting bigger! We had a good time and a fast one hour. We'll break for the holidays and start back up in January.

Sunday, Kathy's son was here for a visit and she made a huge Thanksgiving luncheon for a few people in Village one.      (Click on the photos to enlarge).

Kathy made all this except 3 dishes
Monday, I finally got out to do some shopping. I hate shopping, but it has to be done. Walmart was a one stop shop and I got every thing needed. I dropped off the kids gifts at the Post Office (only two people in front of me) which saved some time. I also remembered to get windshield wipers. The traffic wasn't bad and not many people in Walmart.

Every spare time I have that I'm not doing something in the village, I crochet.

I have all the gifts to be sent in the mail done and all but one has been shipped.  Diamond art was fun on Tuesday,  we had snacks and had a good time.

The rest of Tuesday was meditation, then a couple zoom classes, and cards.

Wednesday, I had a dentist appointment for cleaning and six month xrays. All is good. I crocheted the rest of the afternoon and had cards in the evening.

Thursday, was normal with crochet gathering for most of the day then the Bobbie D Christmas party at 5:00. It was a huge group of 160 this time. Super turnout and a great time.

Friday, I played shuffleboard with one of the gals that loves it. It was a quiet afternoon.  I have the little tree and now gifts under it. All cards are out and gifts have arrived to their destinations. I'm done for this year.
Our son Frank went to the grave site for Jim this morning to lay down the Wreaths across America. He's at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, MO. Thank you

So nice your son could put a wreath on his Dad's grave and get a picture of your son and Jim's grave site.
Have a good week !
