Shuttle Done - Puzzle - Iceland Volcano - Grandson

Auburndale, Fl  (Hi 87  Lo 62)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Last week there was a lot going on, this week was totally quiet.

I finished the shuttle this week. It's something I'd do again or more, but it's on the pricey side. They have a new R2D2 to do, but I'll pass for now. The good thing about the Lego sets you can resell for higher price than what you paid for them. They only make a few and if it's a popular item the price goes up immediately when it's no longer available.

If you're interested in the Lego shuttle here's a great review on all the moving parts that it does. It's amazing watching the parts come together so well.  This is the video someone posted.
Now that I need more to do then just the crocheting, I'm now working on the Mandalorian puzzle. One of our friends had it and it's so neat. I'll be working on it awhile.
The other thing I'm still doing it watching and in a chatroom daily with the Iceland Volcano group. There's three different live cams on the volcano. It's very interesting. It's also neat to put on the TV and watching it.
I'm getting things ready for the graduation trip up north. It's still quite cool, so more jeans and jackets are in order. Maybe it will be warmer by the time we leave. It's going to be a very busy month.

Our grandson, Kendall, graduates from high school later this month.  It was last volleyball game this week. He's quite a sports fan. He played football, basketball and found a true love in volleyball.  His parents will be empty nesters by August when Kendall starts college and Kyle (older grandson) will be married.
