51st Anniversary - There's Always One

Tampa, Fl  (Hi 91   Lo 80)

We wanted to do something a bit different but had to becareful because of the Covid 19 restrictions. There's a Yacht in Tampa Bay  that does dinner cruises so we signed up. We got a window table and found out they have one third the capacity so everyone was spaced out great. (Click on the pictures to enlarge).

There were five meals that you could chose from and that changes daily. I had swordfish and Jim had pork chops. Then chocolate cake for dessert. The drinks were open bar I had a Bahama Mama and Jim had a couple of Old Fashions.

The scenery wasn't like we thought it would be. We were in the port for cruise ships and cargo ships. We did get to see some beautiful homes on Davis Island and Harbour Island.

Tickets
Views of the areas while sailing and eating.

                                            The area we docked.

Yacht Star, second ship, looked just like ours.
Harbour Island
                                            Pretty painted tank.

Dancing and drinking on the top deck made for some great entertainment.
About half way through the cruise the boat turned around and we headed back to the dock. They had an uncontrollable person to escort off the boat, and also someone that had a medical issue with an allergic reaction to something. It seems now days there's someone that can't behave. After dropping them off we were back in the bay a few minutes later. That was some extra entertainment.
We went back into the bay for another 45 minutes as the sun was setting. There were too many clouds to be really pretty. The party continued on for a while after we docked but we left so we could get back out of Tampa before it got dark. There was a lot of construction so we didn't want to miss our turns.
There was a full moon and that made a perfect ending to a very special day.
