Movie - Grandma's RV Park

(Shepherdsville, KY) Hi 78 Lo 61 -- Yesterday we had a couple hours of rain from a front that came in from the East. It's been cloudy but we're staying ahead of the cold temps and it's been wonderful. This is our last day in Kentucky. We love Grandma's RV Park, it's handy to Louisville and near several wineries. Tomorrow we move on to Tennessee.

We did see another movie day on Friday. We went to see The Intern, which we recommend highly. It's well done and really appeals to our age group (retirees). And Robert DeNiro is absolutely wonderful, as always.

There's a big flea market about a quarter mile the park so we walked over yesterday to check it out. I got some veggies and fruit, but nothing else caught our eye. Most of it was typical flea market junk that we don't need. (Click on the pictures to enlarge them.)

The flea market in the background.

There's a field across the road from the RV park that has some donkeys grazing. When we were here a couple years ago there were only three donkeys, now there's a few more, including a couple of adorable babies.  They're very friendly and are used to being petted. It was fun to watch the little ones romp around playing.

Our site. It's close quarters to our neighbor, but we don't mind.

Today is all about football and racing on TV. I'll also be packing and getting ready for our move tomorrow.

We'll see you in a few days.

I know they have to be close in order to have enough spaces for them to make money, but the one we stayed at was a very nice campground. when the mh next to us had his slide out and we had ours out you couldnt walk between them. could almost have handed each other a cup of coffee w/o leaving our rvs
