We visited with my nephews Dave and Doug on Friday evening. Dave and Tina drove down from their home in Niles, MI and we joined Doug and Pam at their house in Elkhart for a cookout.

Doug grilled burgers and brats, and for sides we had Tina's broccoli salad, along with chips and dip. We brought my home made banana pudding and a watermelon for dessert.

Saturday it rained off and on all day so we stayed in and got caught up on some recorded TV shows. We're meeting up with Dave and Tina one more time this week before we leave on Thursday.

We are busy getting things packed up and cleaned for our exit out of here. Always feels good to get ready to go! 2.5 more days! :)
Just came across your blog. Reading about your decision and planning and waiting several years before launching out was encouraging to me today. The sale of our house fell through or at least is delayed by 4 months. Was a bit discouraging hearing that while sitting in a house half empty in preparation. So, just wanted you to know that I was encouraged in reading about you.

Nothing wrong with sitting around a day or two. But you are like us......one or two days is about it!
