Finally, a Massage

(Joliet, IL) Hi 66 Lo 49 -- We had rain all night, but it was the kind that's soothing so we slept well. This morning I had a massage, my first one since March. It was a great one and I'm looking forward to a followup at our next location in a couple weeks. We're headed to O'Fallon, IL to be with our other son and his family, and there's a massage therapist there who I've used before.

The winds picked up and it started getting colder as the day went on. It's supposed to be in the 30's tonight. At least there's no snow. :)

Rick came to visit late this afternoon. He and Jim went to  pick up Grandson Jack for the weekend, and I left later to meet them at Rick's house. I made them Rick's favorite meal, my chicken and dumplings. Rick's wife Laura and step grandson Joey joined us and we had a great time of food and family fun. After dinner the guys watched the St. Louis Cardinals' come back playoff win against the L.A. Dodgers.

All in all a great evening!

It got cold down here in Texas, too. It was 54 this morning and will only get up in the upper 80's today. So, there has been a cool all over.
