Movie - Ending the Winter Fun

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 79 Lo 48 -- We're getting down to our last week of our winter stay in Florida. We both have serious "hitch itch", wanting to get on the road.

Sunday we went to church then watched the NASCAR race and the basketball tournament. We didn't do much else. I know I need to walk but just didn't have the energy.

Monday we spent some time with  Rosemary and Lee. They were full timers in their fifth wheel for 15 years, but settled down this year and bought a park model home here in the park. They traded in their Cameo (similar to ours) and got a smaller Columbus fifth wheel so they can do occasional traveling and visit their family in Indiana. They joined us to go see the movie "Non-Stop". We've been wanting to see it since it came out a month ago, and we're glad we finally did. It's a really good (and suspenseful) action movie. Liam Neeson is very good in it. He's quite the action hero for an old guy in his 60's. :)

After the movie we stopped at Beef O'Bradys in Lake Wales for dinner. I love their fish tacos, but they weren't quite as good in this particular Beef O'Brady's as they were in Sebring. We got home in time to go play cards at the clubhouse.

It rained all last night and this morning. I went to my last hand bell choir practice at the church. I got a lot of encouragement from the leader and the other members, and they would like to have me back in November. I really like playing, even if it is scary for me to perform in front of so many people. It's something to look forward to when we come back this fall.

I got home and picked up Jim to go to our scheduled dental cleanings. Jim passed with flying colors, but I have a couple of issues I need to keep an eye on. We did a few errands and made our last grocery run before we leave next week.

See you in three days.

I was thinking that the church will really miss you! I hope you can remember what you learned when you return in November.

We'll have to check out that movie once it hits Redbox. We're also starting to get "hitch itch" but we still have a couple months before we start heading north. I know you two are ready to head out.

I think it's always exciting to "hit the road". Safe travels.
