(Avon Park, FL) Hi 83 Lo 59 -- Stewart's RV Service came out late this morning to re-caulk our RV roof. Our home is over three years old now, and Jim noticed the caulking on the roof is starting to look pretty bad. We decided to let the professionals do it, and they did a great job. We've never had any leaks (that we know of), and we're hoping this preventive maintenance will keep it that way.
While that was being done I was sitting in the foot doctor's office waiting. I really didn't have to go but I had questions about the treatment he gave me on my last visit, and what to expect since I walk daily. He gave me a cortizone shot in the top of my foot a month ago to help with the tendon pain I was having, and it seems to be really helping. He doesn't think I'll have any more trouble. I do have arthritis in both feet, and he gave me some suggestions on what types of shoes I should be wearing. I'm now done with doctors, at least for now.
Jim and I did our walk and stopped to see some friends that haven't moved out yet. It was a bit warm at 83, but I kept up with Jim pretty good. I still lose my breath pretty quick. I hope that gets better over time.
Our neighbor came home from the hospital today so went over to talk to her. She had a heart attack and had a stent put in. There's damage to the heart so she's not sure now if they'll be back next year or not. They're going to store their RV here at the park this summer instead of driving it back to Illinois.
We had a rain shower come through at dinner time. The lap sealant on the roof is supposed to set and be waterproof after four hours. We sure hope so. We stayed in to watch TV tonight and I started another crocheting project.
