In between rain showers I went to craft class. Today a couple from out of town came in to show us how to bedazzle things. I’ve seen it before but never had an idea of how to do it. They had a lot of bedazzle items to buy, along with t-shirts.
Some of the ideas and what they sold.

What shall we pick out to do.

Different studs to iron on.

USA design.

This is the one I made. Nothing says Florida better then a palm tree and Flamingo.

After visiting with Selene and Hank for awhile we left for our dinner reservations at the Jacaranda Hotel with Kathleen and Jon. We tried to change our reservation to include Hank and Selene, but they couldn't accommodate us. So it was a special Valentines Day dinner with Jon, Kathleen, Dee and Jim

Our youngest son Rick and his wife Laura left this afternoon for Kenya, Africa on a mission trip with their church group. They’re going to help with medical services and construction of a school. They're looking forward to ten days of working, then a two-day safari. Rick created a blog to document their trip and I'll post here when they update it. If you're interested, here's the link:

Thanks for the blog link. I would like to follow it. I have some close friends on a 6 month mission trip right now in Africa.
Nice work on your bedazzled shirt.
How nice of Rick and Laura to help serve on the mission trip. Will be interested in reading their blog.
