Staying Busy

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 78  Lo 59 -- Jim woke up worse this morning, and we had reports there's more people in the park down with the flu. Jim finally decided to go to Urgent Care and they told him he has bronchitis. He got prescriptions for three different meds, so maybe that will kick it. He's been feeling bad now for a week and a half.

I went to morning shuffleboard. There were four of us so we played a new variation of the game. From there I went for my mile walk alone since no one else was available. It was just starting to get warmer, so I got it in before the high heat of the day.

I came back for lunch then went to play Mexican Train (dominoes). It's a fun game, another way of passing time. I happened to think while all the dominoes were face down that it would be fun to play Concentration. That was a great 60's game on TV. Turn up the dominoes one at a time, then back down, and try remember where the matches are located. I may try that with a few people.

We sat outside with Judy and Jimmy for an hour or so then got dinner before going to play cards. Another great day outside, except for Jim. He's starting to get stir crazy. :)
