Movie Day With Friends

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 82 Lo 54 -- I'm beginning to get up early enough to beat the heat and do my walk with Judy. She either has been to shuffleboard (at 8:00) or has already walked her two miles, and then goes on a slower walk with me. I'm waiting for a rainy day to have a day off! (kidding).

After walking a couple miles I gave Judy some pointers on how to use Microsoft Excel to make up her budgets. She wants to track her spending to determine "where it goes." It was fun showing her how easy it is to keep track of  know much she spends and where the money goes.

The four of us went to the movie theater in Sebring to see Parental Guidance, a comedy we were looking forward to. When we got there it wasn't playing. Seems my Jim misread the information on the movie websites he uses, and it turns out the movie is playing in Lake Wales, which is 20 miles north of us. Since we were already there we decided to stay and see The Guilt Trip, another comedy. It stars Barbara Streisand, and it was pretty funny. We all enjoyed it.

After the movie we had dinner at Olive Garden. They've changed their menu since the last time we were there. Our meals were excellent. It was a great day with friends. We're really loving it here in Florida, especially the weather. This morning on one of the cable new channels the weather guy said the only warm weather in the country is between Orlando and Miami... right here in paradise!
