(Avon Park, FL) Hi 70 Lo 52 -- It got chilly over night, and very windy around 2:00am. I was woken up by the RV shaking and worried about the awning, and all the lights on it. It was ok this morning when we got up, but the winds were still pretty high so Jim took down the lights and rolled in the awning.
I went walking with Judy, then stopped in at the Happy Hookers meeting to talk with Kathleen. She's been gone the last few days so we got caught up. One of the gals makes real nice crocheted pot holders, so after the meeting I went to her place to pick out a couple that she had made. Next week she's going to teach me how to make my own. There's always something new and interesting to crochet or knit. I'm glad to have the help and the ideas. One lady was making snowflakes (every one different). There's all kinds of things being made this year.
I worked on another storage area, threw out some old meds, and organized the big tubs that's in the area large washer and dryer closet. I still have a lot more to do, but there's still four months to go before we leave. As long as there's cleaning and organizing to do I'll be ok staying here in one spot.
Jim worked on the computer all day, creating some spreadsheets for various things he keeps track of. He did take time out for his walk.
Tonight is card playing and laughing. It will only be cold a couple of days, then back to high 70's.

We had a windy day here in Fort Myers Beach, too. I made Nicolas roll the awning, and he was worried that the Christmas tree might blow over! Doesn't sound like this "cold spell" is going to last too long - only a couple of days. I love making crocheted snowflakes . . . we have a bunch of them on our tree!
