Ellice with her gas gift card. She's in college, and what college kid doesn't need a couple tanks of free gas!

Joey with his Gamestop gift card. We're sure some new video games are in his future.

Jack with his new "Ninjago" Lego set. Looks like Santa nailed this one!

Rick and Laura showing off the 2013 calendar we had made, with photos of Tumbleweed's 2012 summer travels.

We also got to speak on the phone with our older son Frank and grandsons Kyle and Kendall. They all loved their gifts. We tried to do a Skype call with my mom and sister, but Yahoo messenger wouldn’t load. My sis did take a picture of mom opening the puzzle we got her. It’s a 1000-piece puzzle of a picture of money that we got when we went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing last summer. Mom is doing ok.

I made a crockpot of fried okra for today's potluck at the clubhouse. There were over 300 people there, about the same as last year.

There were several tables full of food...

...and desserts.

I loved this palm tree full of goodies.

It was a very busy kitchen. The turkeys were provided by the park owners.

Our table, Judy, Kathleen, Jon, Jim and Jimmy

We came back home after the dinner. I worked on my vest (pictures on Friday) and Jim, fighting a cold, took a nap.
It was a wonderful day of fun with friends, and love from our family that's far away in miles, but very close in our hearts. Happy birthday Jesus!
