(Avon Park, FL) Hi 82 Lo 58 -- We didn't do much more today than read, play computer games, and read blogs. It's amazing how fast time goes when you're busy with the computer. We both did our walks and I met a few people at the lake so talked with them a few minutes.
It was very humid, with a few drops of rain most of the day. It would rain on the lake, or down the street but not at our site. That's common in Florida. We learned that back when we lived here while in the military. We sat outside but not for long.
At 3:00 we went to the pool party. There were several people there and we met another new couple that are here in the park for the first time. We are meeting some great people. Jon and Kathleen came in late, so we stayed and talked to them awhile. Several went in the pool, but it was really cloudy and we didn't feel like hassling with bathing suits.
We got back home before the rain, but there's a cold front coming in this evening bringing major rain and cooler temps for this weekend. But it will last only a couple days, then it will warm up again. It was a fun laid back day.

Not humid here in the desert but we're supposed to get some clouds and possible rain next week with cooler temps. I know AZ really needs rain but I will probably be grumpy about it because I want the sunshine.
ahhh humid or hot sounds a lot better than our below zero windchills today!
