Finally Got to a Movie

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 82 Lo 64 --  Jim did the laundry this morning so we could leave after lunch to see a movie. We'll be busy the next two weeks and there's a few movies we've been wanting to see. Today we drove to Lake Wales to see Big Miracle.

We loved the movie, it's from a true story that happened in 1988 when a family of gray whales got stranded under the ice in Alaska. We would recommend it as a very good family movie.

Jon and Kathleen told us about the Sizzling Grill in Lake Wales so we decided to try it out. We're glad we did. Like a lot of restaurants in this area they have several lower priced ($9.99) dinners if you get there between 4 and 6pm. Jim got a sirloin steak and I had flounder. We both enjoyed our meals.

It had rained when we got home so the temperature was down a little, but it was still very humid so we kept the air conditioner on.  I keep forgetting it's winter, you'd never know it here in Florida.
