Family Visitors

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 75 Lo 55 -- It was chilly this morning when we got up, but the nice thing about this area is that it doesn't take long to warm up. We had a hot breakfast then did some last minute preparation for our special guests. We got everything ready outside for our planned picnic lunch. Then we relaxed and waited, Jim with his Kindle and me with my blogs and games.

Adele and Richard arrived around 12:30. We gave them a tour of the RV and then on a walk around the park so they could loosen up from their trip. It was so nice seeing them again. We last saw them at their place in Maryland this past spring. After visiting a while and letting them rest up from their trip we had lunch. Jim grilled burgers and brats while I prepared baked beans, potato salad and macaroni salad.

They could only spend a short time with us as they had to be at Adele's brothers house in St. Cloud by dinner time. They left about 3:30 and we already miss them. Thank you "Auntie and Uncle" for going out of your way to visit us. We really appreciate it. When we get back to the Maryland area we'll be sure to stop by again.

After they left Jim settled in with a James Bond movie while I went for a long walk around the park. I then sat outside until the sun went down and it started getting cool. The rest of the evening was watching TV and chilling out. What a wonderful day!
