Quiet Day

(Wauchula, FL) Hi 82 Lo 60 --  It's cool in the mornings and hot during the day, and we haven't had to use any heating during the night and mornings.  Everyone in the park is complaining about how high the electric bill was for last month. We can always put more clothes on when it's cold, but we can't take off enough during the day to get cool without the AC.

We both took our walks this morning and I talked to a few of the people that are leaving tomorrow. There's been a couple people that have lost their mates in the past couple of weeks, so they're not sure if they'll be back next year.

I watched the Eagle Cam most of the afternoon.  There's three little eaglets and it's amazing to watch the parents feed them. The oldest one is very aggressive and he fights for food on every feeding. It's nature at its best.

I played shuffleboard while Jim watched the Nationwide race. Our weather is so perfect I just had to get out today. Tomorrow is the NASCAR race at Bristol, which is one of my favorite tracks so I'll be watching. After dinner we both read the rest of the evening.
