It's All About Football

(Wauchula, FL) - Hi 64 Lo 47 --  It was a cold night, but we kept the propane furnace on and we were toasty. It warmed up today and very little wind.  I read a few blogs but worked mainly on the summer trip. It's so fun being able to choose different routes and checking parks.  Jim did some research on parks in the Ft. Lauderdale area.  We have a very good friend down there, and Jim was raised in that area.  We may go down that way for a few days before we head north.

Jim went for his walk and I cleaned up and swept floors.  I also tackled the shower and got it all cleaned up. Even in an RV you do household chores, you just finish them a lot quicker.  We're going to be getting busier so I wanted to get everything cleaned today and not worry about it.

I went for a walk and stopped at the clubhouse to find a couple ladies working on the puzzle that I started yesterday, so that was the end of my walk.  :)  We still don't have it done, but it won't be long.  There's one gal that looks at the pieces and fits in about 15 at a time. She's very good, everyone talks about how fast she works them.

The Bears/Packers football game was on in the clubhouse and a few men were sitting around watching it.  Jim watched it at home.  Congratulations to the Packer fans.  Now we'll watch tonight's Steelers/Jets game.

All of our local tv stations have interview after interview, cutting into regular programming, just to talk to various players and coaching staff about the upcoming game.
