Cleaning the RV - Neighbors to the right

(Wauchula, FL) -- Hi 70 Lo 59 - It stayed nice and warm all night, but about 5:30 we were both woken up by rumbling and flashes of lighting.  It was a downpour for a few minutes but it was out of here after a short while.  It stayed cloudy the rest of the day.  It was good to have the rain.

I went over to the clubhouse last night to check on what games are played. Here's the tables with people. I found a couple that wants to play hand and foot so we'll plan on that next Wednesday night. We didn't have enough decks of cards on hand to play last night.

After our morning ritual  of coffee and computers Jim headed over to do laundry and I cleaned the house. I've been a bit slack,  but it was nice to have it all done in less than half an hour.  I started a dinner in the crockpot and re-arranged a troublesome cabinet which was hard to get to.  Every time we opened it something would fly out.  But no more, it's now all contained.

While Jim was over doing laundry a beautiful Landmark fifth wheel came in to the site right beside us.  He had a challenge backing in, but a couple of men helped guide him.  With the rain last night the ground is soft and it looked like he was going to get stuck, but he made it in ok. He was here last year so he's not new to the park.

That's very close to that lamp post you see in the middle,  he barely avoided hitting it.
After dinner we're going over to the clubhouse to see a bluegrass band. This will be our first concert of the season. I'll take some pictures and tell you all about it tomorrow.  We're seeing more and more come into the park, so it looks like the snowbirds are escaping the snow up north.  This week has gone faster in our little part of paradise.

Would've been a shame to scrape such a pretty 5er! What's that about close only counting in horseshoes and hand gernades?

Glad things are picking up in sunny? Florida.
