The Hardee County Library is about two miles from us, and they said if we bring proof that we're living in the area for the winter we can get a library card. Jim got the office lady to write out a statement for him and he went today to get his card and spend some time in the library. He's a reader, so he plans to go about once a week, mainly to read the magazines that he likes. While he was gone I cleaned the RV, read a bunch of blogs, and played some computer games. I also walked a lap around the park.
When Jim got home we went to the shuffleboard courts for the 2pm gathering. About 4-6 people show up at 10am and 2pm everyday to play for a couple of hours. I never dreamed you could get sore playing such a low key game. The back of my legs hurt after a couple hours playing, and even Jim felt it in his calves. Kinda pathetic, huh?
It was perfect day... temperature 82, some puffy clouds, a warm sun, and a very nice breeze. Typical Florida winter weather.
Not a real exciting day to report, but that's the way it is when you're retired. We have a day trip planned for tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Now that I think about it you probably do use a lot of muscles playing shuffleboard. Don't overdo it!
Sounds like a pretty nice day to me!
You have to stop sending those funny links to Marti, she laughed so hard I was afraid she'd fall off the couch and hurt herself! ;c)
Be careful on that shuffleboard court, I've heard the games can get ugly and the bets can bankrupt you...
Beats even a good day at work.
