Is it a Cold or Allergies - Moving in the Morning

(Newport, NC) - The movie last night, RED, was really good.  The letters R-E-D mean something, but I won't tell.  It's about a retired group of CIA spies that, due to circumstances, have to become un-retired. It was funny and entertaining, especially for folks in our age group.

I have been sneezing the past few days since we got to North Carolina.  I know I'm allergic to cotton and figured since they're now picking cotton that's my problem.  Last night I sneezed all night long. I woke up feeling a lot worse and have concluded it's now a cold.  I didn't do much all day.  I was hoping to read a lot of blogs but didn't get that done either.

Jim left about 2:00 to go to his mom's for a farewell get together with his family.  They later went out to dinner at a Chinese buffet.  I went to bed to get some rest.  I got up just as Jim got home.  Today just wasn't productive.  I have to be in good shape for our trip tomorrow.  We normally don't like to travel more than 250 miles in one day, but tomorrow and Monday we'll cover just under 300 miles each day.

I doubt that allergies would turn into a cold, but maybe they do. Take a benadryl 1/2 to 1 hr before going to bed, sleep well, and get rid of the allergic reaction. It's tried and true for me at least.

I hope you will feel better in the morning. Traveling when you don't feel well is not much fun.

600 miles in two days! Wow, you really are taking all those stink bugs for a ride.

Next season, they'll be wondering how did they get down here so fast?

I'll never tell...
