After church we went to Wendy’s for lunch then dropped her off and we went back home for the afternoon. I cleaned up the rig and made an apple salad to take to a dinner date tonight. I also read some blogs and we watched the beginning of the NASCAR race. It was late starting today so we didn’t get to see the whole race.
Later in the afternoon we picked up mom again and went to our friends Clara and Jim’s for dinner. What a feast! We had grilled chicken, green beans, potato salad, and my apple salad. We had a very long chat to catch up on things going on in the area. They have an RV and we hope to meet up with them in Florida this winter and spend some time camping with them.

We got back home late, but what a time we had with our friends!
