The First Day of the Rest of Our Lives

Jim had several emails and comments that today is the first day of the rest of his life. It's quite a start. Cloudy and now we're under snow advisory/watch.

I went to bed at 1am and got up at 9:30. Jim went to bed at 11:30 and got up about 7:30, that's probably going to be our way of life in our new lifestyle.

Jim went to get more installation in his truck and I cleaned up the RV for guests that were coming later this afternoon. It's sure fast to clean up.

I read blogs, watched Survivor from DVR and a couple other shows to pass the time. It's very cloudy and we're getting reports of 1-5 inches of snow between late tonight and tomorrow. Here we go again. Even if we did hear from the dealer, we'd more than likely can't get there. We have all of March if we have to wait, and we're ok with waiting through February, the park has been paid. Jim filled the tanks and dumped the gray and black tanks in case it gets really bad weather.

Thanks to all the new readers, it won't be long we'll be on the road. Just hang in there with us.

Well I am just that old reader that comes and goes when he can. I hope you two get out of there before the weather gets bad again...I got a foot of snow here but we are leaving tomorrow anyway.

Like Speedy, just another old reader poppin in and out. We wanted to congratulate Jim on his retirement. It is a great life depending on what you do with it. We are staying active and hopping around this great county of ours while doing volunteer work here and there. No regrets. Y'all stay warm now. No snow here in Midland Tx. but it has had its cold nights.
