Here's the recap:
What we like about the Carriage Cameo 36FWS.
Everything.
There's nothing that we don't like. The gas stove is just something I have to learn
The convection oven and I are starting to get along just fine, meals are faster by a couple minutes.
The layout is perfect
There's no dislikes
What we've learned along the way:
WATCH the propane tanks very closely and change out immediately
Keep things picked up, the living area clutters fast
We still have to move and hook up, so next weekend we made reservations in Newport, NC at Waters Edge RV Park for a weekend getaway and to visit Jim's family for a couple of days.
We've made all the right moves so far. There's been NO wish I hadda's. We're moving right along for our retirement on the road.
Now that it's warmer we're hooked up to city water, no more noisy water pump and the worry of freezing water lines. The other thing we've been waiting to do it grilling outside. It's been over 13 years since we've been able to use a grill. When you live in apartments and condos it's frowned on to cook outside the door. Jim got out the Weber grill and did some chicken. Talk about GOOD! Now, we're very happy campers. I can start shopping differently for food for the grill.
Ahh the fun is only beginning. We have 31 days to leave for Texas.
