Freezing COLD at 3am

What's up with this propane! We both woke up about the same time at 3am freezing. We pulled the big comforter over us and put the ceramic heater on higher temperature. We were thankful for the heater or we would have really been cold. My head gets really cold so I grabbed the wool hat I wear in cold weather.

The one propane tank was out and Jim was sure we could make it on the second one till at least Tuesday. WRONG, it went out too. He got up at 6:00 and sat in front of the fireplace but at 17 degrees outside, it was only 50 in the RV so at 8:30 he headed out with the two empty tanks to get them filled.

He found a place and another guy was there too filling up his tank. A conversation was started about where they were located and found out it was our neighbor. There's two trailers right beside us and both people in them are doing contract work in the area. The guy Jim talked to said the regulator on our tanks may be off a bit and in colder weather we'll use more then usual. I'm glad Jim found a place open on a Sunday morning. We're thinking of getting a huge tank placed here, but not sure if we'll save much for the five more weeks that we'll be here.

We warmed up quickly, but it's cold here and we can't leave, so as long as Jim is working, we're going to stay warm and keep the propane tanks filled. It's suppose to be in the teens at night the next few nights.

This is the reason we're going full time in an RV.

This is our youngest grandson, Jack

I finally worked on all the for sale stuff and got it on Craigslist. I'll go over to the apartment this week to separate the furniture from the household stuff. I'll get more advertising done during the week.

Tomorrow it's back to work for Jim. I still have some things to be sure is secure before moving the rig. I also will start our trip plans for Texas which will be in 41 days. That's getting close.

Yikes! A lot of times this lifestyle is about the tanks---keep some emptied and others filled... :)

Where do you guys head first after Jim retires?
