Shaking 'er down, learning more stuff. What a night. Our "teachers" left about 6:00pm last night. I made my first meal of leftovers and settled in for the night. It was cold but we did really well all night till 6am. It got cold and we just couldn't get the furnace to kick on. We had to get up at 7:00 to be ready for the guys to teach us more.
I turned the little remote on and off and the furnace kicked in. We found out I had the wrong button set, it was on heat pump instead of the propane for the night, so it kicked off when the temp got too low for it to handle the cold. That was my first mistake of many many more to come. We found out the water pump was ok, but has a lot of air in it and since we're not hooked up yet to a sewer, we'll wait till we get to Raleigh to run a lot of water to get the air out of the system.
After eating out for breakfast, the next thing on the agenda was to learn the hitch and unhitch. Jim did really well with the first time pulling and Allen (teacher) set up the braking system. Jim drove it around then backed it back in the spot where we will be for another night here at the dealer. We'll head out early in the morning for Raleigh Fairgrounds for a week.
It's awesome! We're very happy with the unit on how well it handles. Pictures are to the right side of this blog under Carriage 36FWS. I also put them on Facebook. Several pictures to give you an idea what it looks like.

We'll go out to eat tonight but I did do a couple meals so far in our kitchen. One in the microwave and one on the stove, which is gas and I'm not use to it. Jim is going through all the paperwork and sending in all the warranties.
When we figure out the time that Jim will quit work, I'll start another countdown. That sure helps and it's fun to follow.

I'm not real sure that that 36 ft Cameo with the full length slide is what I would envision from the name of "Tumbleweed." LOL! She looks way more fancy than a lowly weed blowin in the wind. wouldn't you think?
Looks really nice, enjoy your new home.
