Webcam - We are Connected - Parks are Found

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

What a great day! We got a lot accomplished. It rained all night and all morning. I got up earlier then normal because we had a date with our son and grandson with the webcam. He was so cute. He's four and talks really well. We don't do that very often and the last time we saw him was the wedding, what a change! We can't wait to get on the road and be with him for a week. (at least).

After we read some emails, we went to Verizon to pick up an aircard. Instead, we got the MiFi. It's like having your own personal wifi and it's almost as fast as Roadrunner. We're very pleased with it. Jim was trying to get the printer to work with it and then lost all connections so he was on the phone with a tech guy for quite awhile, so we're back to printing from the roadrunner. Looks like we'll have to connect with a cable when we're on the road, but that's ok. Now I can play all the way to Morehead in the truck like a lot of the chatters do.

The rest of the afternoon I went through all the parks we may need here in NC and also some in Illnois and Missouri. I also threw out all the paperwork on all the searching we were doing for other RV's. I got rid of a lot. I found some lists we did in 2005 for things to get for the RV which I pulled out and will check out. It was a great afternoon. I also made reservation for the RV-Dreams Rally in April. We have site 23 at the RV park. We're really looking forward to meeting with more people that will be going full time.

The sun came out for awhile and the temp got to 78. It was a very productive Saturday and things are coming together. We should have a date SOMETIME next week on when the RV will be on the way to the dealer.

It's still light out and there's several kids going around the complex. We'll see how many we get.
