I don't remember sleeping any last night, but I'm sure I did. Jim is thinking of getting me a sound machine so I don't hear every noise and wake me up. The ice maker was set to make ide before we went to bed and everytime is dropped ice I'd be wide awake. Last night we put another ad on Craigslist for the washer/dryer because the gal that was suppose to be here never showed up and we called every half hour leaving a message. We got at least eight more names of people that wanted them. We called one with a truck and could pick them up today. We made the deal and he'd call before he came sometime in the morning. I kept waiting at work to hear from him. At 11:00 I called him and he was on his way an hour east and would be back in Cary later in the afternoon. Without boring you to pieces, he got here at 3:00 and did a great job getting them out without scratching the walls.
I had picked mom up and she helped with the cleaning. I still had the bathroom to do and the window sills, then after the washer and dryer were gone that area had to be cleaned up. Two and half hours later we were done. I needed groceries being very careful not to get anything I'd not have room for in the cabinets.
Getting ready this morning was funny. I didn't have any shoes besides my sneakers. Jim threw them out with his not knowing mine was at the bottom of the sack. I have no sandals or summer shoes at all. I'm glad it's the end of summer. Next summer we'll be on the road so I'll get something somewhere. That's exciting to think about. We had the coffee ready found all our clothes to wear, so we didn't do too bad for our first day back to work after moving.
We have one more day before closing. Jim still has his speakers to get at the apartment, it's cleaned and we're set to go. I'm so relieved to get the washer and dryer out.
DAYS TO CLOSE ON CONDO 2
Time left to get on the Road 20 weeks 4 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

Oh Dee, you are so funny! Get those new sandals next summer from a really cool place and you can tell and retell the story of WHY you had to buy them!!! Great campfire story. Good luck with the closing tomorrow, let us know when you are HOMELESS???
