Happy birthday to Penny, RV-Dreams chatter. I hope you have a great day/evening.Mondays are always bad, but this one wasn't as bad as normal. I woke up before the alarm. The meeting at work went well and very short. Mr Boss had an appointment so it was a very quiet morning. I was super busy and the five hours went really fast. It's my three year anniversary today. I can't believe I've been there that long. I told them I would be there four years, and I'm very close. I'm not sure what day I'll quit, but it will be before Feb 22.
After work, I went to the dentist. It should be my last cleaning before hitting the road. I have two fillings to get fixed so will do that once we get moved. One more time to see the dentist before leaving the area.
We got some info from the RV dealer in Missouri. They won't ship unless it's directly to us. We would have no walk through and we'd have no idea what to do with it. Jim isn't happy with it after talking to the dealer. He's still wanting to order. I need to slow down and take baby steps.
We need to close on the condo. I found out last night our neighbor's condo is back on the market. They appraised the place so low she can't take that amount and her buyer wanted even lower so she said forget it. She's already pretty much taken everything out so she wants our refrigerator and our bed so she can live here again. I feel so bad for her. We still need the inspection and the appraisal so we may be in the same boat. We didn't hear from the apartment today so that's not setup yet. If we don't close and they don't call we won't be losing anything. Timing is everything.
The Realtor told us last night it's possible to close next week if they ok everything. We have to be out the day of closing, so we'll need somewhere to go. I'm glad we already got the apartment coming to us. We told them at the apartment complex we wanted to move in the first, so I'm sure they didn't push things through today. They're very busy on weekends.
We will move into the apartment, order the RV, and sell stuff as we move into the RV when it we get it here at the park. We'll have someone to teach us and we'll have everything in it the way we want it. We only have one chance so Jim wants what we planned on. He says the next time he won't tell me about one on sale till he gets it all figured out. The 2010's have levelers that level the rig with a push of a button. That's cool.
So today, we wait for the inspection and the appraisal and the date to move into the apartment. One day at a time and little by little we'll get there.
Time left to get on the Road 24 weeks 6 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

Thank you for your "Another Year Older" wishes, Dee.
The walk-through isn't that big of a deal, you already know how to do everything. You have studied enough on it. It is going to come with a manual. If you can save 30 grand, that's a lot of gas, I mean diesel. You have RVed with your friends. Anyway, we are here to help you, you have friends you can ask on FB, and lots of us that you can email. Just plug the rig in, and run everything on electric until you feel more confident about using the propane.
Happy Trails, Penny, TX
I am with Penny, you could save lots of $$, but it is important to get what you want. You'll know what the right decision is when you make it.
Hugs,
Dortha
