Got 'er Done! - The Whole List is Done

Thanks to the chatters last night I was up till 2am. When I got to bed that late (early) I go right to sleep and stay asleep. BUT if I do that and try to get up early for work I don't navigate very well, so have to wait till we retire to change my hours nightly. Thanks Deb for closing down the chatroom with me.

I woke up about 9 and thought of all the stuff we had to get done today soI got up. We had a list of eight items from the inspector for the condo. The listing is on a previous post if you're interested. Here's today's results:

The fireplace had a little punch out so put in foil. We learned from chat last night that foil is good for the RV so the roll we bought will be going with us.
The bracket to hold the stove in place was easier then we thought. Bill from the chatroom told us how to mark the foot and put in the bracket. I found the bracket in the cabinet from the time we moved in 12 yrs ago, the builders didn't install it.
I cleaned the edges of the stove, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be after all these years.
Jim took down the speakers and there were half inch holes left
I filled the holes with putty, smoothed it out and repainted the walls

The biggest job we had we got a little advice and help in doing it. This hole (left from the builders) left the pipe move around the inspector said it had to be solid and no movement.
So, the guys put paper around the hole
Placed tape around the hole to hold the everything in place
Then put in Great Stuff that blew up, filled the hole and now the pipe doesn't move at all.
The other stuff was minor and we didn't do much to it at all. We wrote to the Realtor telling her we're done, so things are now back in the buyers court. We're thinking things will be really quiet now till around the 12th or a little before when we'll hear about the loan and the walk through.

We wait, yet again. We decided not to move anything to the apartment. It's really hot and by the time we got done with the list of things it was late. I did get more plastic tubs and a crate for the kitchen stuff. I'll do the pantry when we're ready to move, just throw out anything that's not going with us.

I caught up with the blogs and did some emails and relaxed the rest of the evening.

Time left to get on the Road 23 weeks 1 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

Unscrew the shower head and put a chrome 1/2" escutcheon plate over pipe, then the repair will not show. Then screw the shower head back on.
If you have access to the back of that shower head, you could nail or screw a piece of plumbing strap across the pipe to something stable, and really make it solid. It should have been done like that, when it was built.
