April Fools Day 2009

Story time:
April Fools will always have a special place in my heart and a giggle along with it. A long time ago, when the kids were pre-teen they did something that will always be a family memory.

I was getting ready for work, which back then was about 6am. I went to the kitchen sink to get water and water went everywhere. I wasn't sure why and looked around for leaks or what may have happened. I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary so I turned the water on again, this time I was drenched, then I heard giggles. The boys were around the corner laughing at me. I just couldn't figure it out, so the oldest showed me the rubber band around the handle of the sprayer which was aimed right at me. I wasn't mad but did have to change clothes before leaving. To this day we laugh about how they did such a great job on "April Fooling, mom". Thanks boys, it's something I'll always remember on April 1.

I got up about 9, but I could have stayed in bed till 10:30. I love Wednesdays, but I happen to think it's the first so I could do the monthly budget. I like seeing where we stand for the month. It took two hours to get all the info put together.

I watched TV, read blogs and played with Yoville on Facebook. I left for work at 11:30 and went to post office. I didn't have any problems today with the traffic around the construction area.

I worked on a client project today that was done totally wrong so the whole day was correcting the project. Both bosses were gone today so I grabbed some boxes of magazines and loaded them in the car. When the trucks come for our recycling trash, I'll have three boxes for them. If my boss happens to ask, (which he won't) all the magazines are online. When I took them out of the back room it already looks better, but I still have a lot to do more to do. Maybe by the time I leave work, they will all be thrown out, if I can get them from the storage area.

I got home at 5:00, got dinner and read blogs till time to get on the chat. I did notice when I got to the door at home, that the Realtor card was gone off the door. I taped one to the For sale sign. I hope we get some action before long.

Days left to leave for the wedding 55
